Masonic coat of arms in Istrian Marble, finely worked by hand, depicting the classic symbols of Freemasonry (square and compasses) and the eye of providence. It comes from Venice (Masonic lodge founded in 1746), private collection.
The square is sometimes said to represent matter, and the compasses the spirit or mind. The eye, on the other hand, represents the great architect of the Universe, a divine entity considered neutral.
A lot more unique than rare, of sporadic availability, the patina of the marble should be noted.
It can be easily hung on the wall. Medium-sized, well-proportioned and of low weight.
It is in excellent condition, undamaged.
It will be shipped in a properly packed wooden crate.
Traceable, secure and inexpensive shipping worldwide.
